Top 20 Financial Blogs
Found this excellent review of the 24/7 Wall St.'s Top 20 Financial Blogs (via Rodger Nusbaum ).
I was a little surprised to see who was not included: Barry Ritholtz's Big Picture and Bill Cara's site.
Still, found a few new sites that look excellent, and was reminded of a few I haven't visited for a while.
I continue to be impressed with the level of quality on a number of financial blogs. It doesn't seem that long ago our "independent research" was limited to a Value Line report and a 3 month old summary from Standard & Poor's.

What ever could they have been thinking!
Barry should be there also , though he allows too much political debate there
